From first call to fully run.
No long procurement and no black box. Here is exactly how we take work off your plate and keep it running, and what we need from you at each step.
One board, five states
The diagram beside each step is the same diagram. It's your back office, and what changes as you scroll is how much of it's drawn, staffed, and written down.
Nothing drawn yet, just listening
01 / 05 Before anything is agreed
Discovery
A short call with no pitch in it, to understand your business, your back office, and where the friction actually is.
We're working out whether there's a fit, and where we would start if there is. Plenty of these calls end with us naming the one thing to fix and nothing being sold.
The tangle becomes a board with named steps
02 / 05 The part most firms skip
Map how it runs today
We map how your operations actually run: the workflows, the tools, the parts stuck in one person’s head, and where work can be delegated or automated.
This is the step that decides whether the rest of it works. Buying a template, a tool, or a hire before this is how back offices end up with three of each and the same problem.
Seats attached to the board, not to you
03 / 05 People and tools, in that order
Matched team and tools
We assemble the right people and the right automation for your setup. Not a generic package, just the pieces that fit how you actually run.
Where a tool would do it better than a person, we say so, even though hours are what we sell. Where the work needs judgment, it gets a person with a backup already in the loop.
Written down while it's being learned
04 / 05 Taking it on
Onboarding
We document your processes, agree the standards, and take the work on without disrupting the business while we do it.
Your time goes on short, specific sessions rather than open ended meetings, and what comes out of them is written down, so the know-how ends up in your business rather than in our heads.
Turning on its own, reporting on your rhythm
05 / 05 And then it's just running
Ongoing
We run it, report on a rhythm you choose, and keep improving it. One accountable partner across people, process, technology and compliance.
The measure of this stage is how little of it reaches you. You should be reading a report, not chasing an update.
What you see each month
Once we're running your back office, this is what lands on your side: the close as it happens, the bills waiting for your yes, and a short report when the books are done. The examples use a made-up business.
