Terms of use
Please read these terms before using this website. They set out the rules for using the site and the basis on which we make it available.
Agreement to these terms
These terms of use govern your access to and use of this website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
This site is operated by PPTC Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in Texas, United States. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean PPTC Group LLC.
About this site
The site provides general information about our back office operations services. It is offered for your information only.
Nothing on this site is an offer to enter into a contract, a guarantee of any result, or a promise that our services are suitable for your situation. Descriptions of services may change without notice.
Booking a call
The calendar on our Book a call page is Microsoft Bookings, a Microsoft service. Opening it means using their service, and Microsoft's own terms and privacy statement apply to what happens there. Nothing is loaded from Microsoft until you open the calendar.
Booking a time is an appointment for a conversation. It is not an engagement, and it commits neither of us to anything beyond the call itself. We may reschedule or cancel a call if we have to, and so may you, using the links in the confirmation email.
Not professional advice
Content on this site is general information, not legal, financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. For advice about your own situation, speak with us directly or with a qualified professional.
Engagements are governed by a separate agreement
If you engage us, the specific terms of that work, including scope, fees, and responsibilities, are set out in a separate written agreement between you and us. That agreement, not this website, governs the services we provide.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it. In particular, you agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, interfere with its normal operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data at scale, or use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, design, graphics, and logos, belongs to PPTC Group LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non transferable right to view the site for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute our content for commercial use without our written permission. Our name and marks may not be used without our consent.
Links to other sites
The site may link to websites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party site. Visiting them is at your own risk.
The site is provided "as is"
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PPTC Group LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Australian customers
If you are in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any of them, and any part of these terms that would do so does not apply to you to that extent.
Our services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, that liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Choosing Texas law below does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and you can bring a claim in an Australian court that has jurisdiction.
United Kingdom and European customers
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law of your own country that cannot be given up by agreement, including your data protection rights and, if you are dealing with us as a consumer, your right to bring a claim where you live.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PPTC Group LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or costs arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Privacy and security
What we collect through this site, why, who processes it and how long we keep it is set out in our privacy policy. Where these terms and that policy touch on the same thing, the privacy policy governs personal information.
How we protect information, including the design that keeps protected data out of our hands in client work, is set out on our security page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date below shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and disputes about them or about this site are to be handled by the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas.
That choice cannot override protections you have at home that the law does not let you give up. If you are a consumer, or in a country whose law reserves certain claims to its own courts, those rights and those courts remain open to you, and nothing here is an attempt to close them.
