Process and SOPs. Operations that run without you.

We find what is actually going wrong, design the process around it, write it down so anyone can follow it, then run it. The work stops depending on somebody remembering how it goes. Including you.

Decided first. Then written. Then run.

Most process work fails because it starts in the middle: a template arrives before anyone has decided how the work should actually run, so nobody follows it. We decide the order, the owner and the handoff first, write it down, and then run it.

Four services, starting with a review.

Operations review & roadmap

The problemSomething keeps going wrong, and everyone treats the symptom that shows up.

What changesWe look at how it actually runs, find the real cause, and give you an ordered plan you can run or hand back.

SOP & workflow design

The problemThe way it works lives in your head, so every handover starts from zero.

Documentation & systemization

The problemHow things run is scattered across inboxes, chats and the people who simply know.

What changesCollected into one place your team actually uses, and kept current, which is the part that usually fails.

Ongoing operations management

The problemSomebody has to be accountable for the day to day, and right now it's you.

What changesWe run the work against a standard you set, and take responsibility for whether it happens.

  1. 01

    A handover is a Tuesday.

The role is written down while it runs, so a change of person isn't a crisis.

WRITTEN WHILE THE WORK RUNS Who owns it What triggers it Step by step What good looks like FOLLOWABLE ON DAY TWO
  2. 02

    The fire drill retires.

The same fire stops breaking out weekly once the real cause is fixed in the process itself.

    Nothing waits on you.

Approvals and handoffs have owners and clocks. You check outcomes, not steps.

    It gets better on purpose.

Runbooks are updated as the work changes, not rediscovered when it breaks.

What owners ask about SOPs and process

Is this a sales call in disguise?

No. It's a piece of paid work with a deliverable you keep. Sometimes the finding is that your process is sound and you need one more person, or that a tool you already pay for does the job once someone configures it properly. We would rather tell you that than sell you a project you didn't need.

What do you need from us to do it?

Access to watch how the work happens, and time with the two or three people who actually do it. Most of what we need is already in their heads and in your systems, so there's nothing for you to prepare.

Do you document what we do now, or improve it?

Both, in that order. We capture the current process first, because that's where the real steps live, then fix the parts that are manual, error prone, or only in your head. Writing down a broken process just makes it permanent.

How much of my time does this take?

Less than owners expect. Most of the work is us watching the job happen and asking questions afterwards. You're needed for the decisions, not for the writing.

How is this different from SOP and workflow design?

SOP work goes deep on one process and redesigns it. This goes wide across the business and keeps everything current. Most clients start with SOPs for the operations that hurt, then systemize the rest once they see the difference it makes.

Where does all of it live?

In what you already use. We work Microsoft 365 first, so most of the time this ends up somewhere your team is already signed into. If you run on something else, we fit into it rather than move you onto our preference.

How is this different from hiring a fractional COO?

A fractional COO brings judgment for a few days a month and then hands the work back to your team. Here the team doing the work is ours and managed by us, so you aren't left holding the execution between visits.

Tell us which part keeps going wrong.

A short call is the easiest next step. No pitch, just whether we're a fit for your back office.
